         The ancient name of Counsell finds its origins with the ancient Anglo-Saxon culture of Britain. It comes from a name for a person who was a councillor, one who provided ‘consultation, deliberation' derived from the French words "counsell, consell, cunsell," of the same meaning. 

• Deanna received her Bachelor in Arts from the University of Regina, and attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received her JD in 2022.
• Deanna articled with JBK Law  and was called to the bar May 2023.
• In her free time, Deanna enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and children, including her son and her niece.
